I am a Ph.D. candidate in Accounting at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and will be on the job market in the 2026-2027 academic year. I am broadly interested in banking and financial services. My current research examines the effects of bank strategy and regulation on bank disclosure.
In my job market paper, titled "The Effect of Monetary Tightening on Community Bank Financial Reporting," I examine banks' risk appetite and provisioning behavior during periods of monetary tightening.
Prior to pursuing an academic career, I worked as a Senior Associate at PwC, providing audit assurance to asset management and banking clients. I was additionally part of PwC's Assurance Innovation & Technology team, creating automated digital solutions for financial service audit engagements.
I hold a Master's of Accountancy, a B.S. in Accounting, and a Minor in Economics from Brigham Young University.
